Euclid Elementary in the San Diego neighborhood of City Heights is the latest school to join the Rainforest Art Project with the goal of bringing quality student created art to their campus. The entire fifth grade class is joining hands with parent volunteers to create a brilliantly colored mosaic and ceramic maple tree sculpture for their main courtyard.
It has been a real pleasure to see the student’s skills develop and their talent surface more with each project. There is such a great sense of pride and excitement during each session because they realize that they are making a difference in their neighborhood.
“Art is what gives me confidence. Art makes me feel like I can’t get anything wrong “.
